Contact the WSA 2008-2009 Board Academics
The WSA hosts several events related to academics throughout the year. Our goal is to assist members in their transition back into a student by providing first year students with the opportunity to capitalize on the experience of faculty and second year members.
For example:
- The WSA hosts seminars with HBS faculty on how to succeed with the HBS case method, how to improve class participation and how to prepare for finals.
- The WSA also hosts student panels and forums on class selection for the second elective year.
- The WSA also encourages interaction between its members and female faculty at HBS through a variety of formal and informal gatherings.
Along with these initiatives, our faculty advisor, Kathleen McGinn supports our efforts to increase student / faculty involvement.
